SolisFAST® Master Mix with UNG, Ready to Load

A 5x-concentrated ready-to-load master mix from Solis BioDyne designed for fast singleplex and multiplex endpoint PCR assays. It combines an in-silico designed SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase with the Stability TAG system, an optimized buffer, and increased tolerance to inhibitors, enabling robust PCR and accurate target detection. The mix supports amplification of up to 5 kb fragments from low complexity DNA templates such as lambda or plasmid DNA, and up to 3 kb from complex templates such as human genomic DNA.

With UNG included, the mix helps avoid carry-over contamination and is suitable for Sanger sequencing applications. Fast cycling conditions can be used: initial activation 1 min at 98 °C, denaturation 5 sec at 98 °C, and annealing/extension 20 sec at 60 °C for 25 cycles. On a Biometra T1 'slow' cycler (5 °C/sec ramp rate), the run completes in 26 minutes, while on an Eppendorf Mastercycler X50s 'fast' cycler (10 °C/sec ramp rate), the run completes in 20 minutes. The UNG formulation is stable at room temperature for 1 month at 25 °C and can be shipped ice-free. The ready-to-load format includes two tracking dyes.

To set up a reaction, only primers, nuclease-free water, and DNA template need to be added, reducing hands-on time.
