SolisFAST® Master Mix, Ready to Load

From Solis BioDyne, this 5x-concentrated ready-to-use solution is designed for fast hot-start singleplex and multiplex endpoint PCR assays. The mix enables amplification of up to 5 kb fragments from low complexity DNA templates (e.g. lambda, plasmid DNA) and up to 3 kb from complex DNA templates (e.g. human genomic DNA). It combines a novel in-silico designed SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase with the Stability TAG system, an optimized buffer, and increased tolerance to inhibitors to support robust PCR and accurate target detection.

Suitable for both 'slow' and 'fast' PCR cyclers, the mix delivers results in 20 minutes on a fast machine (10 °C/sec ramp rate) or 26 minutes on a slow machine (5 °C/sec ramp rate) under fast cycling settings: initial activation 1 min at 98 °C, denaturation 5 sec at 98 °C, and annealing/extension 20 sec at 60 °C for 25 cycles. The Ready to Load formulation supports ice-free shipping and reaction set-up, requiring only the addition of primers, nuclease-free water, and DNA template.

SolisFAST® Master Mixes are 2 months stable at 25 °C and should be stored at -20 °C in the original container. The product is supplied as a green liquid with a pH of 7.0-9.0. It is classified as not hazardous to health and is intended for Research Use Only. The mix performs reliably in Sanger sequencing applications, and a UNG variant is available to help avoid carry-over contamination.
