SOLIScript® RT cDNA synthesis KIT (200 rxn)

This flexible, highly specific cDNA synthesis kit from Solis BioDyne contains all the reagents needed for first-strand cDNA synthesis, with individual components that enable thorough assay optimization. At its core is SOLIScript® Reverse Transcriptase, a chimeric, genetically modified MMLV-based enzyme with reduced RNase H domain activity and enhanced stability conferred by a patented genetic modification known as the Stability TAG. The enzyme works across a temperature range of 37°C – 60°C, with an optimum at 50°C — a useful property for templates with complex secondary structures — and delivers fast results with reaction times of 5 to 30 minutes while transcribing RNA sequences up to 8.9 kb. It is compatible with oligo(dT) and gene-specific primers, making it well suited for direct one-step qPCR workflows even in the presence of common inhibitors. The kit is not recommended for use with random primers.

The kit is supplied with SOLIScript® Reverse Transcriptase, RiboGrip® RNase Inhibitor (220 U/µl), 10× RT Reaction Buffer with DTT, Oligo (dT) Primer (100 µM), dNTP MIX (20 mM of each), and nuclease-free water. Reaction setup is performed at room temperature in a 20 µl volume. Supported applications include gene expression analysis, disease diagnosis, genomic analysis, and structural studies of mRNA.

The product ships at room temperature and should be stored at –20°C upon receipt. It remains stable at 4°C for 3 months, at room temperature for up to 1 month, and withstands up to 30 freeze-thaw cycles. The kit is manufactured by Solis BioDyne OÜ in Tartu, Estonia under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified quality management, and is intended for research use only.
