RiboGrip® RNase Inhibitor (220 U/µl)

Supplied by Solis BioDyne (OÜ, Teaduspargi 9, 50411 Tartu, Estonia), this preparation is a liquid containing 220 U/µl of RNase inhibitor. The product is designated for Research Use Only and is not classified as hazardous under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. It is colorless with a pH of 7.0–9.0, and is stored at -20°C with routine storage between -28°C and -18°C until the end of its shelf life.

The formulation contains water (CAS 7732-18-5, <47%), glycerol (CAS 56-81-5, <51%), potassium chloride (CAS 7447-40-7, <1%), and Tris-HCl (CAS 1185-53-1, <1%), with the active inhibitor present at less than 0.1% (w/w). The product is included as a component in the FIREScript® RT cDNA synthesis Kit, where it is supplied alongside reverse transcriptase, 10x RT Reaction Buffer with DTT, dNTP mix, oligo (dT) primer, random primers, and nuclease-free water.

Solis BioDyne recommends handling in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice, using personal protective equipment such as nitrile rubber gloves and safety glasses with side shields, in well-ventilated areas. The substance is considered non-hazardous for transport and is not regulated under ADR/RID, ICAO-TI/IATA-DGR, or maritime transport requirements.
