FIREScript® RT cDNA synthesis MIX with Oligo (dT) and Random primers (500 rxn)

For first-strand cDNA synthesis, Solis BioDyne offers the FIREScript® RT cDNA Synthesis MIX with Oligo (dT) and Random primers in a convenient MIX format. According to the manufacturer, the format combines the reverse transcriptase and RiboGrip® RNase inhibitor in one tube with a separate 10x RT Reaction Premix that supplies the Oligo (dT) primer, random primers, reaction buffer and dNTPs, alongside nuclease-free water, so that only template RNA needs to be added.

The MIX is built on FIREScript®, a highly thermostable version of Murine Moloney Leukemia Virus (M-MLV) reverse transcriptase. The enzyme produces high yields of cDNA in 15 minutes across a 37–60 °C reaction temperature range, supporting robust performance with templates that contain complex RNA secondary structures. The reagents can be handled at room temperature for 30 days without loss of activity and, according to the manufacturer, the synthesis is up to 4× faster than selected competitor kits.

For Research Use Only. Routine storage is at -28 °C to -18 °C until the end of shelf-life (as marked on the package). For downstream cDNA quantification, Solis BioDyne recommends compatible qPCR master mixes such as 5x HOT FIREPol® EvaGreen® qPCR Supermix or 5x HOT FIREPol® Probe Universal qPCR Mix.
