FIREScript® RT cDNA synthesis MIX without primers (100 rxn)

A cDNA synthesis mix from Solis BioDyne, formulated for first strand cDNA synthesis from total RNA or purified mRNA without primers included. The mix combines FIREScript® reverse transcriptase with RiboGrip® RNase Inhibitor in a 10x RT Reaction Premix, supplied together with nuclease-free water. It is engineered for high thermostability and can be handled at room temperature for 30 days without loss of activity. The enzyme works across a temperature range of 37–60°C, enabling improved specificity when working with GC-rich regions and templates with tight secondary structures. cDNA synthesis can be completed in 15 minutes, and the mix can detect total RNA amounts as low as 0.01 ng. It generates full-length cDNA of at least 8 kb and provides full RNase H activity. For templates longer than 5 kb, incubation at 37–50°C for 30–60 minutes is recommended. Suitable applications include first-strand cDNA synthesis for two-step RT-PCR and RT-qPCR, as well as reverse transcription at elevated temperature to reduce the effects of secondary structure.
