HOT FIREPol® MultiPlex Mix with 10 mM MgCl2

Solis BioDyne offers a 5x-concentrated, ready-to-use mix designed for hot-start multiplex PCR. The formulation contains all reagents required for the reaction except template, primers, and water, and is optimized for the amplification of up to 18 targets in a single reaction. It is intended for Hot Start PCR and Multiplex PCR applications.

The mix combines HOT FIREPol® DNA polymerase, 5x MultiPlex Buffer with 10 mM MgCl2 (providing 2 mM MgCl2 in the 1x PCR solution), dNTPs, BSA, and a compound that increases sample density for direct loading. Reaction setup can be performed at room temperature. A typical protocol begins with an initial polymerase activation at 95 °C for 12 minutes, followed by 25–30 cycles of denaturation at 95 °C, annealing at 58–62 °C, and extension at 72 °C, finishing with a 5–10 minute hold at 72 °C.

The product is manufactured under Solis BioDyne's ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified Quality Management System and is supplied for research use only, for in vitro applications. Routine storage is at –18 °C to –28 °C. The mix is a colorless liquid with a pH of 7.0–9.0 and is classified as non-hazardous for transport.
