Description
Designed for working with difficult GC-rich templates and DNA secondary structures, Solis BioDyne's HOT FIREPol® GC Master Mix Kit delivers excellent amplification with templates up to 79% GC content. This hot-start PCR solution is supplied as a 5x-concentrated ready-to-use Master Mix containing all reagents required for PCR (except template, primers, and water), with a special buffer optimized for high yield GC-rich amplification. Separate vials of 100% DMSO and 25 mM MgCl2 are included for added flexibility.
The Master Mix contains chemically modified HOT FIREPol® DNA Polymerase enabling hot-start activation, 5x HOT FIREPol® GC Buffer, 7.5 mM MgCl2 (yielding 1.5 mM in 1x PCR solution), dNTPs, and BSA. The product is shipped at room temperature and is stable at 25°C for 1 month, at 4°C (2°C to 8°C) for 6 months, and at –20°C (–28°C to –18°C) until the expiry date. Freeze-thaw stability is rated at 30 cycles, and reaction setup is performed at room temperature. An initial denaturation step at 95°C for 12 minutes is required to activate the polymerase.
Manufactured by Solis BioDyne OÜ in Tartu, Estonia, under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified Quality Management Systems. Supplied for research use only. FIREPol is a registered trademark of Solis BioDyne OÜ, and the technology is covered by patent EP2501716 and made following the methods of US Patent No. 9,321,999.
