HOT FIREPol® Blend Master Mix with 7.5 mM MgCl2

Solis BioDyne supplies this ready-to-use 5x-concentrated master mix designed for Hot Start PCR. The blend combines two optimized enzymes — HOT FIREPol® DNA polymerase and a proofreading polymerase — providing both 5' flap endonuclease activity and 3'→5' proofreading activity, with up to five-fold increased fidelity compared with HOT FIREPol® alone.

The mix contains everything required for PCR except template, primers and water. Each 1x reaction provides 1.5 mM MgCl2 (from a 7.5 mM stock in the 5x buffer), 200 µM each of dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP, and BSA, together with HOT FIREPol® DNA polymerase, the proofreading enzyme and the 5x Blend Master Mix Buffer. Generated PCR products are compatible with blunt-end and TA cloning procedures. Routine storage is between −18 °C and −28 °C, and the product is manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified Quality Management Systems. It is supplied for research use only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures.
