HOT FIREPol® Blend Master Mix with 12.5 mM MgCl2

From Solis BioDyne, this 5x-concentrated ready-to-use master mix supplies all reagents required for PCR except template, primers, and water. The blend combines HOT FIREPol® DNA polymerase with a proofreading polymerase, providing both 5' flap endonuclease activity and 3'→5' proofreading activity, and delivers up to five-fold increased fidelity compared to HOT FIREPol® used alone.

Designed for hot-start PCR, the mix permits reaction setup at room temperature, and the resulting products are compatible with both blunt-end and TA cloning procedures. The 5x formulation contains 12.5 mM MgCl2 (yielding 2.5 mM in the 1x PCR solution), 1 mM of each dNTP (200 µM each in the 1x reaction), and BSA, together with the two enzymes and a 5x Blend Master Mix Buffer. The manufacturer recommends the mix for any PCR application that will be visualized by agarose gel electrophoresis and ethidium bromide staining.

Routine storage is at -18°C to -28°C. The product is manufactured by Solis BioDyne under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified quality management systems and is supplied for in vitro research use only.
