FIREPol® Master Mix (7.5 mM MgCl2)

From Solis BioDyne, this premixed ready-to-use solution contains all reagents required for PCR, except template, primers and water. The FIREPol® Master Mix is suited for a wide range of PCR assays and TA cloning.

Reagent composition includes FIREPol® DNA polymerase, 5× Reaction Buffer B (0.4 M Tris-HCl, 0.1 M (NH4)2SO4, 0.1% w/v Tween-20), 7.5 mM MgCl2, and 1 mM dNTPs of each. In a 1× PCR solution, the MgCl2 final concentration is 1.5 mM and the dNTP final concentration is 200 µM of each (dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP). Recommended template DNA input is 5-50 ng/µl.

Routine storage is at -20°C. Shipping and temporary storage for up to 1 month at room temperature or storage for up to 6 months at 2-8°C has no detrimental effects on the quality of the mix. For in vitro use only. The mix is recommended for PCR applications visualized by agarose gel electrophoresis and ethidium bromide staining; it is not recommended for reactions requiring a detergent-free buffer system.
