STEMdiff Trilineage Differentiation Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this functional assay kit provides a culture-based approach to evaluate the pluripotency of human embryonic stem (ES) and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell lines through directed differentiation toward the three germ layers: ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm. The kit includes specialized complete media together with monolayer-based protocols that enable parallel in vitro directed differentiation experiments for each germ layer, establishing trilineage differentiation potential within one week in a clear and reproducible manner. It is intended as an endpoint assay and is not optimized for the generation of cells for downstream differentiation or other applications, and has been optimized to assess cells maintained in mTeSR™1.
