AggreWell800 6-well Starter Kit

STEMCELL Technologies AggreWell™800 plates bring an easy and standardized approach to the production of embryoid bodies and 3D spheroids from a variety of cell types. The 800 µm microwells support a cell range of 3,000 to 20,000 cells per EB or spheroid, and the 6-well plate format provides approximately 1,800 microwells per well.

These 2nd generation plates feature aligned microwell arrays and improved optical properties for crystal clear imaging right in the plate, while retaining the ease-of-use, uniformity, and reproducibility of the original design. AggreWell™ plates are compatible with pluripotent stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, cancer cells, and cell lines. Popular applications include generating 3D cancer spheroids for tumor biology or disease modelling research, and directed differentiation of pluripotent stem cells, including neural induction.

Compatible accessories include a rinsing solution for cultureware to prevent cell adhesion, serum-free medium for generation and culture of embryoid bodies using AggreWell™ plates, and a reversible strainer for filtration of single cells and isolation of cellular aggregates including embryoid bodies and spheroids.
