EasySep Dir HLAXM B Cell Iso Kit

STEMCELL Technologies offers the EasySep™ Direct HLA Crossmatch B Cell Isolation Kit for isolating untouched human B cells directly from whole blood, spleen, or lymph nodes, providing cells ready for serology or flow cytometry crossmatch assays. The kit uses an immunomagnetic negative selection approach, without the need for density gradient centrifugation or red blood cell lysis. Starting with human whole blood from normal healthy donors, the B cell (CD19+) content of the non-lysed final isolated fraction typically ranges from 89 - 99.8% (gated on CD45). In the above example, the B cell (CD19+) content of the lysed whole blood start sample and non-lysed final isolated fraction is 12.3% and 98.4% (gated on CD45), respectively.

The kit can also be applied to buffy coat samples, and the workflow can be automated on a fully automated cell separation instrument capable of performing up to four simultaneous or sequential EasySep™ cell separations. It forms part of STEMCELL Technologies' cell separation solutions for HLA laboratories, supporting applications such as complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and flow cytometric crossmatch (FCXM) assays.
