STEMdiff Intestinal Organoid Kit

Generate 3D intestinal organoids from human pluripotent stem cells using a defined, serum-free workflow from STEMCELL Technologies. The STEMdiff Intestinal Organoid Kit supports directed differentiation through definitive endoderm induction, mid/hindgut patterning, and maturation into intestinal organoids containing villus-like epithelium, Paneth cells, goblet cells, and enteroendocrine populations.

Researchers commonly apply this system for disease modeling of conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and cystic fibrosis, drug screening for intestinal absorption and toxicity, host-microbe interaction studies, and developmental biology investigations of the gastrointestinal tract.

The kit provides a complete medium set including Intestinal Organoid Basal Medium and stage-specific supplements. The workflow typically proceeds over 14-28 days in culture, using either embryoid body or monolayer-compatible protocols. Cells are maintained at 37 °C with 5% CO2, with media changes every other day.

Provided as a single-use kit format sufficient for processing cells in a 6-well plate, the system supports reproducible intestinal lineage specification without the variability of undefined matrices, and is intended for research use only.
