SolisFAST® 1-step RT-PCR Kit with UNG Ready to Load

From Solis BioDyne, the SolisFAST® 1-step RT-PCR Kit with UNG Ready to Load combines cDNA synthesis and end-point PCR in a single tube, with a Ready-to-Load formulation designed to streamline gel electrophoresis workflows. The kit is described as highly sensitive and specific, offering an under 1-hour RT-PCR cycling protocol and the ability to detect as little as 0.1 pg of RNA, making it suitable for virus detection and RNA target analysis.

Optimized composition enables multiplexing of up to 5 RNA targets simultaneously in a single reaction, and the kit performs well in both singleplex and multiplex RT-PCR assays. The included AmpliBoost™ RT-PCR enhancer helps tackle GC-rich amplicons, while the preblended UNG enzyme helps prevent carry-over contamination. In a demonstration using Human Reference Total RNA, a 496 bp fragment was successfully amplified from a serial dilution of 100 ng down to 0.1 pg using a quick 54-minute total cycling protocol, and five targets (72, 109, 159, 206 and 443 bp) were efficiently amplified from 100 to 0.01 ng of input RNA in a multiplex format.

Proprietary Stability TAG technology delivers inherent stability, with the kit shown to remain stable at 25 °C for 1 month, supporting ice-free shipment and convenient handling.
