SolisFAST® 1-step RT-PCR Kit with UNG

From Solis BioDyne comes a streamlined workflow for analyzing RNA targets by reverse transcription PCR. The SolisFAST® 1-step RT-PCR Kit with UNG enables sensitive and highly specific cDNA synthesis and end-point PCR in a single tube, with both reactions performed within approximately one hour. This format simplifies the analysis workflow, reduces reaction-to-reaction variation, and minimizes hands-on steps.

The kit is supplied in a four-tube format containing all necessary components except RNA template and primers. The 4x One-step HOT SolisFAST® Mix with UNG includes HOT SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase, an in silico designed analogue of Taq DNA polymerase with chemical hot-start and approximately 2-4 times faster extension rates. The buffer system also provides dUTPs and heat-inactivatable Salini UNG® Uracil-N-Glycosylase to prevent carry-over contamination from previous amplifications. The 40x One-step RT Mix comprises thermostable SOLIScript® and FIREScript® Reverse Transcriptases active at temperatures up to 60°C, beneficial for templates with high levels of secondary structure, along with RiboGrip® RNase Inhibitor that inactivates commonly encountered RNases (A, B and C). The 5x AmpliBoost™ RT-PCR Enhancer is a novel additive designed to improve sensitivity and performance with GC-rich and other challenging amplicons and is now a necessary component of the reaction mix.

The product is manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified Quality Management Systems. Routine storage is at −20°C (–28°C to –18°C) until the expiry date, with freeze-thaw stability of 10 cycles. The kit is shipped on blue ice and is supplied for research use only.
