SepMate-15 100-pack RUO

Designed by STEMCELL Technologies, SepMate™-15 tubes enable rapid isolation of mononuclear cells (MNCs), including lymphocytes and monocytes, from whole peripheral blood, bone marrow, or cord blood by density gradient centrifugation. A specialized insert inside each tube separates the sample from the density gradient medium, removing the need for careful layering. Whole blood is diluted with PBS containing 2% FBS, pipetted down the side of the tube, and centrifuged at 1200 x g for 10 minutes at room temperature with the brake on. The enriched MNC layer is then simply poured off into a new tube, while erythrocytes and granulocytes remain trapped below the insert.

The SepMate™-15 format is intended for 0.5 - 5 mL of initial sample, with a minimum packed RBC volume of 0.25 mL and a maximum packed RBC volume of 3 mL. Tubes are sterilized by irradiation and intended for single use by trained personnel. They should be stored at ambient temperature and are not intended for use with leukapheresis samples, buffy coat samples, or samples older than 48 hours. Compatible density gradient media include Lymphoprep™ and Ficoll-Paque™ PLUS, or any similar medium with a density of 1.077 g/mL. The product is for research use only and is manufactured under a cGMP quality management system compliant to 21 CFR 820 and certified to ISO 13485.
