Rt IgG1,k Ctrl, RTK2071, UC, 500µg

This unconjugated rat IgG1, kappa isotype control antibody, Clone RTK2071, is supplied by STEMCELL Technologies and is intended for use as an isotype-matched control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. The clone carries the same subclass of heavy chain (IgG1) and light chain (kappa) as the antibody being evaluated, and a conjugated control can be selected when a fluorochrome-conjugated primary antibody is used.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody has been verified for use as an isotype control for assessing non-specific binding to cells in applications such as flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy (surface and intracellular staining). Supporting flow cytometry data demonstrate staining profiles on C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes (gated on lymphocytes), with companion panels using Anti-Mouse CD45 Antibody, Clone 30-F11, PE and Anti-Mouse CD3e Antibody, Clone 145-2C11, APC. Listed applications also include functional assays, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blotting.
