Anti-Beta-Tubulin III, AA10, 25ug

From STEMCELL Technologies, this laboratory antibody reagent (Clone AA10) reacts with β-tubulin III. Class III β-tubulin is expressed primarily in neurons and is widely used to distinguish neurons from other cell types.

The antibody has been used to label E18 cortical rat neurons cultured with the NeuroCult™ SM1 Neuronal Culture Kit on poly-lysine-coated glass coverslips, with detection using donkey anti-mouse IgG and Alexa Fluor® 488. It has also been validated by western blot on denatured/reduced lysates from adult rat brain cortical cells. The product is supplied as a clear liquid and is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).

Intended for research use only, the reagent is not for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic applications unless otherwise stated. The manufacturer's quality management system is certified to ISO 13485. No special protective equipment is required for normal handling, though standard good industrial hygiene and safety practice should be followed, and containers should be kept tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
