Anti-Dextran, DX1, 100µg

Clone DX1 is a mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa isotype control antibody directed against dextran, a natural polysaccharide with several uses as an additive. Offered by STEMCELL Technologies, the reagent can be applied in cell isolation, flow cytometry, or other procedures.

The product is supplied as a clear liquid and is intended for research use only, not for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses. It is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).

Supporting data include a competitive ELISA in which free dextran (but not sucrose) inhibits binding of the antibody to immobilized dextran, and a Western blot analysis confirming reactivity with a dextran-conjugated carrier protein. The antibody has also been used as an isotype control in flow cytometry, including work on C57BL/6 mouse bone marrow cells processed with the EasySep™ Mouse CD11b Positive Selection Kit.
