RosetteSep Human T Enrichment, 2 mL

Designed for the immunodensity isolation of untouched T cells directly from human whole blood, this enrichment cocktail from STEMCELL Technologies uses negative selection. The cocktail is a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS, including a mouse (BALB/c) monoclonal IgG1 antibody against human and chimpanzee CD3. Unwanted cells are crosslinked to red blood cells present in the sample, forming immunorosettes that pellet along with the free red blood cells during density gradient centrifugation. The desired T cells are never labeled with antibodies and are easily collected as a highly enriched population at the interface between the plasma and the density gradient medium. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

Starting with fresh human whole blood, the T cell content (CD3+) of the enriched fraction typically ranges from 90% to 97%. The procedure is fast and easy to use, requires no special equipment or training, and can be combined with SepMate™ tubes for consistent, high-throughput sample processing.
