RosetteSep Human Mono Enrichment, 2 mL

A monocyte enrichment reagent from STEMCELL Technologies is designed to isolate monocytes from whole blood by negative selection. The ready-to-use cocktail removes unwanted non-monocyte cells by antibody-mediated crosslinking to red blood cells, which pellet together during density gradient centrifugation and leave unlabeled, functional monocytes at the plasma–density medium interface. Starting from fresh peripheral blood, the CD14+ cell content of the enriched fraction is typically 72% – 85% (red blood cells removed by lysis prior to flow cytometry).

Optimized for peripheral blood and leukapheresis samples, the reagent is compatible with Ficoll and SepMate density gradient systems and supports small- to mid-scale isolations. The cocktail contains mouse monoclonal antibodies directed against human, rhesus, and cynomolgus CD14. It is intended for research use only and should be refrigerated according to the supplied instructions.
