RosetteSep DMM, 100mL

A density gradient medium from STEMCELL Technologies, formulated for the enrichment of human myeloid (CD33+) cells from whole blood when used with RosetteSep™ cocktails. The medium has a density of 1.085 g/mL and is manufactured using aseptic technique, with each lot sterility tested according to USP methods.

Intended for in vitro diagnostic use, the product should be handled by trained personnel observing good laboratory practices. It has been specifically formulated to optimize myeloid cell recovery, and use of a different density medium may cause cell loss. The medium should be stored at 15 - 25°C, though storage at 2 - 8°C is acceptable provided the medium equilibrates back to 15 - 25°C and the bottle is inverted to mix contents before use. It should be kept protected from direct light and remains stable until the expiry date indicated on the label.

Warnings and precautions listed by the manufacturer note that the medium is a potential irritant to the eyes, respiratory system, and skin, and may be harmful if ingested. Once the product has been added to human cells, the resulting suspension should be treated as potentially biohazardous, and disposal of unused medium should follow standard laboratory procedures for non-hazardous liquids.
