RosetteSep Cord Blood Enrichment, 10 mL

This immunodensity negative selection cocktail from STEMCELL Technologies is designed to isolate progenitor cells from cord blood and whole blood. Unwanted cells are targeted for removal with tetrameric antibody complexes recognizing CD2, CD3, CD14, CD16, CD19, CD24, CD56, CD61, CD66b and glycophorin A on red blood cells. When centrifuged over a buoyant density medium such as Lymphoprep™, the unwanted cells pellet along with the red blood cells, and the purified progenitor cells are collected as a highly enriched population at the interface between the plasma and the buoyant density medium.

The workflow requires no special equipment or training and yields untouched, viable cells. The cocktail can be combined with SepMate™ for consistent, high-throughput sample processing. For large volumes of blood, the manufacturer recommends the RosetteSep™ Cord Blood Progenitor Enrichment Kit with HetaSep™.
