RosetteSep CD3 Depletion, 0.5mL

A negative-selection cell separation reagent from STEMCELL Technologies, this 0.5 mL vial of the RosetteSep CD3 Depletion cocktail removes CD3-positive T lymphocytes from whole blood or peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) suspensions. The format is sized for processing approximately 50 mL of whole blood, supporting small-scale immunology workflows.

Working through tetrameric antibody complexes that crosslink unwanted T cells to red blood cells, the reagent creates dense rosettes that pellet through standard density gradient centrifugation media such as Lymphoprep or Ficoll-Paque. Untargeted populations — including B cells, NK cells, monocytes, and other immune subsets — remain untouched in the interface layer, preserving their functional phenotype and surface marker expression for downstream assays including flow cytometry, cell culture, and in vitro functional readouts.

The depletion protocol completes in roughly 20 minutes with minimal handling, and the product is supplied as a sterile, ready-to-use liquid intended for research use only. After separation, depleted cells can be washed and resuspended in standard culture medium or staining buffer for immediate analysis, and the open format supports integration with automated workflows on platforms such as RoboSep.
