From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic kit enables the easy and efficient isolation of highly purified human CD33+ myeloid cells, including CD14+ and CD66b+ populations, from whole blood or bone marrow. The EasySep™ workflow uses Tetrameric Antibody Complexes recognizing CD33 together with dextran-coated magnetic particles, allowing labeled cells to be separated using an EasySep™ magnet without columns. Unwanted cells are poured off while the cells of interest remain in the tube.

Typical performance using ammonium chloride-lysed peripheral blood with "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet yields a CD33+ cell content of 95.6 ± 1.6% in the isolated fraction (mean + SD), with up to 98% purity reported by the manufacturer. The kit is compatible with the EasySep™ Magnet, "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet, and RoboSep™-S platforms, and is offered in a RoboSep™ configuration that includes Filter Tips and replaces the earlier EasySep™ Human CD33 Positive Selection Kit for faster isolations.
