Immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies designed to isolate highly purified CD66b+ cells from fresh whole blood by positive selection. The kit targets desired cells with Tetrameric Antibody Complexes recognizing CD66b and dextran-coated magnetic particles, allowing separation without the use of columns. Cells of interest stay in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off. The CD66b antigen is expressed on mature granulocytes, and isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction for lineage-specific chimerism analysis following HSC or bone marrow transplantation.

Typical EasySep™ performance figures cite isolated CD66b+ cell content of 98.0 ± 0.8% (mean ± SD) when using "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, with start and final isolated fractions of 62.8% and 98.6% in the reported example.
