RoboSepHLA Chim WB B Cell Pos Slctn Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this kit enables isolation of highly purified CD19+ and CD20+ human B cells from fresh human whole blood, buffy coat, or an LRS cone for HLA analysis. Using EasySep™ immunomagnetic positive selection, the cells are targeted with Tetrameric Antibody Complexes recognizing CD19 and CD20 together with dextran-coated magnetic particles, then separated using an EasySep™ magnet without the use of columns.

Labeled cells of interest remain in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off. The CD19 antigen is present on mature B cells and B cell progenitors but is lost upon maturation to plasma cells; CD20 is expressed on all stages of B cell development except on pro B cells or plasma cells. This product replaces the previous EasySep™ HLA Whole Blood B Cell Positive Selection Kit for faster cell isolations.

Typical B cell purity (CD19+CD20+, gated on CD45+ cells) of the isolated fraction is 92.5 ± 5.6%, with a representative run showing start and final purities of 4.5% and 92.2% respectively; the kit is also reported to deliver up to 97% purity. Designed for research in the areas of chimerism, HLA, and immunology, it is offered in both manual EasySep™ and automated RoboSep™ formats.
