RoboSep Negative Human CD8, 1mL

This immunomagnetic negative selection kit, offered by STEMCELL Technologies under the EasySep™ and RoboSep™ product lines, isolates highly purified human CD8+ T cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or lysed leukapheresis samples. The column-free workflow combines the specificity of monoclonal antibodies with a simple magnetic protocol.

In the negative selection procedure, unwanted cells are labeled with antibody complexes and magnetic particles, leaving the desired CD8+ T cells untouched and viable for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. The kit targets CD4, CD14, CD16, CD19, CD20, CD36, CD56, CD66b, TCRgd, and GlyA for removal. EasySep™ technology has been used in published research for more than 20 years, and starting with frozen mononuclear cells the CD8+ cell content of the enriched fraction typically ranges from 84 - 95%, achieving up to 95% purity.

The kit is compatible with a range of magnets, including the EasySep™ Magnet, "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, Easy 50 EasySep™ Magnet, EasyPlate™ EasySep™ Magnet, EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet, and RoboSep™-S, supporting column-free immunomagnetic separation within immunology workflows.
