RoboSep Ms FITC Positive Slctn Kit II

An immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies, offered under the EasySep™ and RoboSep™ brands, is designed to isolate mouse cells labeled with FITC-conjugated antibodies from single-cell suspensions of mouse splenocytes, bone marrow, or other tissues [S1][S2]. Desired cells are targeted with antibody complexes recognizing FITC and dextran-coated magnetic particles, and separation is performed with an EasySep™ magnet without the use of columns [S2]. Labeled cells of interest remain in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off [S2].

In a cited example starting with mouse splenocytes, the purities of the start and final isolated fractions were 24.3% and 95.3%, respectively, when used with a FITC-conjugated anti-mouse CD4 antibody [S1]. The kit is compatible with the EasySep™ Magnet, "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet, and the RoboSep™-S instrument [S2]. It can be used to isolate a wide range of cell types, including B cells, dendritic cells, granulocytes and subsets, hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, macrophages, marrow stromal cells, mesenchymal stem and progenitor cells, monocytes, mononuclear cells, myeloid cells, NK cells, plasma cells, and T cells [S2].

The kit includes an EasySep™ FITC Selection Cocktail, Mouse FcR Blocker, EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™, and a RoboSep™ Vial for Primary Conjugated Antibody, which is not required for manual use [S2].
