RoboSep Mouse Hem Prog Isolation Kit

This immunomagnetic negative selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies isolates untouched and highly purified hematopoietic progenitor cells from mouse bone marrow using a column-free workflow. Non-progenitor cells are labelled and removed with the supplied reagents, and the desired progenitor fraction is simply poured off into a new tube. The kit is rated for processing up to 1 x 10^9 cells.

The procedure is fast and easy to use, and is offered in both a manual EasySep™ format and a fully automated RoboSep™ format. Isolated cells remain viable and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, and cell-based experiments. Reported purity reaches up to 84%, with typical lineage antigen-negative cell content of the isolated fraction ranging from 60 – 84% when starting from mouse bone marrow. The retained cells are enriched for the LSK (Lin⁻Sca1⁺c-Kit⁺) population, which contains the major repopulating stem cell activity in mouse bone marrow and is identified by lack of lineage antigens including CD3, CD11b, CD19, CD45R (B220), Ly6G/C (Gr-1), and TER119.
