RoboSep Mouse CD8+ T Cell Isolation Kit

Designed for immunology research workflows, this immunomagnetic negative selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies uses the RoboSep™ and EasySep™ platforms for the rapid isolation of mouse CD8+ T cells from single-cell suspensions of splenocytes or other tissues. EasySep™ combines the specificity of monoclonal antibodies with the simplicity of a column-free magnetic system, trusted in published research for more than 20 years. The CD8+ T cells obtained are untouched and immediately ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, and cell-based experiments.

Unwanted cells are labeled with antibody complexes and magnetic particles, targeting CD11b, CD45R, Ter119, CD4, CD49b, CD19, CD11c, TCRgd, and CD24 for removal. The desired cells are then separated using a compatible magnet — simply pour or pipette the desired fraction into a new tube. Starting with mouse splenocytes, the CD8+ T cell content (CD3+CD8+) of the isolated fraction is 94.4 ± 0.7% (mean ± SD) when using the purple EasySep™ magnet. The workflow can be completed in as little as 17.5 minutes, with the kit designed to process up to 1 x 10⁹ cells from a spleen source.

Compatible magnets include the EasySep™ Magnet, "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, EasyPlate™ EasySep™ Magnet, EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet, and RoboSep™-S. Recommended staining antibodies for assessing the purity of isolated cells include anti-mouse CD3e and anti-mouse CD8a.
