RoboSep Mouse CD49b PosSel Flt Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this kit enables isolation of highly purified CD49b+ cells from mouse splenocytes or other single-cell suspensions by immunomagnetic positive selection. The column-free workflow uses an EasySep™ magnet, with antibodies and magnetic particles labeling the target cells so that unwanted cells are simply poured off while desired cells remain in the tube.

Isolated cells are immediately ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. Because the positively selected cells are already PE-labeled, purity can be assessed directly by flow cytometry. The kit is rated for processing 2 x 10^9 cells, and the manufacturer states up to 90% purity, with the CD49b+ content of the isolated fraction typically ranging from 74 to 90% (in one example, starting at 6.2% and reaching 90.2%).

Components include an EasySep™ Mouse CD49b PE Labeling Reagent (a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS with 0.1% BSA and an Fc receptor blocking antibody), an EasySep™ PE Selection Cocktail, and EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™ (magnetic particles). All components should be stored at 2 - 8°C and are stable until the expiry date on the label. Protocols are available for manual use with EasySep™ magnets, "The Big Easy", and the fully automated RoboSep™ system. The product is for research use only.
