RoboSep Mouse CD4 Pos Slctn Fltr Kit II

This immunomagnetic kit from STEMCELL Technologies isolates highly purified CD4+ cells from mouse splenocytes or other single-cell suspensions by positive selection. The column-free workflow uses antibodies recognizing the CD4 surface marker, along with magnetic particles, to label target cells. Desired cells are separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet, and unwanted cells are simply poured off while the desired cells remain in the tube.

Designed for processing 2 x 10^9 cells, the kit can achieve up to 98% purity. Isolated cells are not fluorochrome-labeled and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, and cell-based experiments.

Starting with mouse splenocytes, the CD4+ cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 94.8 ± 3.5% (mean ± SD) for the purple EasySep™ Magnet. In the cited example, the purities of the start and final isolated fractions are 20.7% and 96.2%, respectively.
