RoboSep Mouse B Cell Isolation Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic negative selection kit isolates highly purified, untouched mouse B cells from single-cell suspensions of splenocytes or other tissue samples for use with the RoboSep™ automated cell separation system. Unwanted non-B cells are labeled with biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin-coated magnetic particles, then separated without columns using a magnet. The desired B cells are simply poured off and immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, and cell-based experiments.

The kit is fast and easy to use, delivering cells in as little as 15 minutes with up to 98% purity achievable. Starting with mouse splenocytes, the B cell content (CD19+CD3-) of the isolated fraction is typically 97.6 ± 1.7% (mean ± SD) using the purple EasySep™ magnet. The procedure requires no columns and yields untouched, viable cells.

Components include an EasySep™ Mouse B Cell Isolation Cocktail, EasySep™ Streptavidin RapidSpheres™ 50001 magnetic particles, and EasySep™ Mouse FcR Blocker. The kit is rated for processing 1 × 10⁹ cells. Unwanted cells targeted for removal include those expressing CD11b, CD4, CD8a, Ly6G/C, Ter119, CD43, CD49b, and CD90.2.
