RoboSep Mou CD90.2 Pos Slctn Fltr Kit II

This immunomagnetic kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables isolation of highly purified mouse CD90.2+ (Thy1.2+) cells from splenocytes and other single-cell suspensions through positive selection. The workflow uses antibodies and magnetic particles together with an EasySep™ magnet, with unwanted cells poured off while desired cells remain in the tube, and no columns are needed.

Designed for processing 2 x 10^9 cells, the kit is reported to deliver up to 98% purity. In a typical isolation starting with mouse splenocytes, the CD90.2+ cell content of the isolated fraction is 95.8 ± 1.5% (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ Magnet). Isolated cells are not fluorochrome-labeled and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, and cell-based experiments. Both manual and fully automated RoboSep™ protocols are supported, and purity can be assessed by flow cytometry using an anti-mouse CD90.2 (Thy-1.2) antibody, clone 53-2.1.
