RoboSep Human T Cell Iso Kit

Negative selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies for isolating untouched and highly purified human T cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. Using immunomagnetic separation without columns, the protocol can be completed in as little as 8 minutes with an EasySep™ magnet and delivers up to 98% purity with high recovery. Non-T cells are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles, then separated with an EasySep™ magnet; the desired T cells are poured off into a new tube and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. The T cell content (CD3+) of the isolated fraction is typically 96.7 ± 1.5% (mean ± SD).

The kit comprises an Isolation Cocktail of monoclonal antibodies in PBS and Dextran RapidSpheres™ magnetic particles in water. Both components should be stored at 2 - 8°C and not frozen, remaining stable until the expiry date on the label; components may be shipped at room temperature (15 - 25°C). The kit is compatible with multiple magnets, including EasySep™, "The Big Easy", EasyPlate™, EasyEights™, Easy 50, and RoboSep™ instruments. Recommended medium includes EasySep™ Buffer, RoboSep™ Buffer, or PBS containing 2% FBS and 1 mM EDTA, free of Ca++ and Mg++.
