RoboSep Human Pan-B Cell Enrichment Kit

An immunomagnetic negative selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies that isolates untouched, highly purified B cells, including plasma cells, from fresh or previously frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or lysed leukapheresis samples. Unwanted non-B cells are labeled with antibodies recognizing specific cell surface markers and magnetic particles, then separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet. The desired cells are simply poured or pipetted off into a new tube, with up to 99% purity achieved, and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

Cells targeted for removal include those expressing CD2, CD3, CD14, CD16, CD36, CD42b, CD56, CD66b, CD123, and glyA. The kit is not recommended for peripheral blood or other tissues from patients with B cell leukemia or lymphoma, or from conditions in which B cells may express CD36 and/or CD123. Pan-B cells are characterized as lineage-negative (CD4, CD8, CD14, CD16, CD56) CD19+ and Lin-CD19-CD43+, and the pan-B cell content of the enriched fraction typically ranges from 90 - 99%.
