RoboSep Human Myeloid DC Enrichment Kit

STEMCELL Technologies offers an immunomagnetic negative selection kit for isolating untouched human myeloid dendritic cells (mDCs) from fresh peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), buffy coat, or lysed leukapheresis samples. Marketed under the EasySep™ and RoboSep™ lines, the kit uses a column-free magnetic workflow that combines monoclonal-antibody specificity with a simple pour-or-pipette procedure.

Unwanted cells — granulocytes, T cells, B cells, monocytes, non-myeloid dendritic cells, NK cells, erythroid cells, and progenitor cells — are labeled with antibody complexes and magnetic particles and separated from the desired mDCs. The isolated mDCs are defined as Lineage (CD3, CD14, CD19, CD20, CD34, CD56)-negative, HLA-DR-positive, and CD11c-positive, and are ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. The kit yields untouched, viable cells.

Starting with 0.6 – 1.8% mDCs in fresh peripheral blood nucleated cells, the enriched fraction typically reaches 50 – 90% purity, and EasySep™ has been used in published research for more than 20 years.
