RoboSep Human Mono Iso Kit

A column-free immunomagnetic kit from STEMCELL Technologies, offered under the EasySep™ and RoboSep™ product lines, isolates highly purified CD14+CD16- human monocytes from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and washed leukopheresis samples in as little as 12 minutes.

The kit performs negative selection by labeling unwanted cells and platelets with antibody complexes and magnetic particles, leaving the desired monocytes untouched and viable. Manufacturer data generated with the purple EasySep™ Magnet report typical CD14+CD16- purities of 89.7 ± 3.4% without the platelet removal step and 87.3 ± 4.5% with it, while third-party listings describe up to 94% purity with high recovery for this format.
