RoboSep Human CD8 T Cell Iso Kit

STEMCELL Technologies offers this kit for isolating untouched and highly purified human CD8+ T cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. The method uses immunomagnetic negative selection with the column-free EasySep™ system, in which unwanted non-CD8+ cells are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles and the desired cells are simply poured off into a new tube. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction, with a workflow that can be completed in as little as 8 minutes.

Configured for use with the RoboSep™ fully automated platform, the kit is supplied with an Isolation Cocktail (a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS) and EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™ (a suspension of magnetic particles in water). Both components should be stored at 2 - 8°C and may be shipped at room temperature (15 - 25°C). The manufacturer reports that the CD8+ T cell content (CD3+CD8+) of the isolated fraction is typically 85.6 ± 4.9% (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ Magnet), with the system described as delivering up to 91% purity with high recovery.
