RoboSep Human CD56 Pos Sel Kit II

The immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies is designed to isolate highly purified CD56+ cells from fresh or previously frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), with a stated processing capacity of 1 x 10^9 cells. The column-free procedure can be completed in as little as 18 minutes, with purity reported as up to 98%. The kit targets the CD56 surface marker using monoclonal antibodies in combination with magnetic particles, and isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

This RoboSep™ automated format includes the Selection Cocktail II, Dextran RapidSpheres™, RoboSep™ Buffer, and RoboSep™ Filter Tips, and is compatible with a range of EasySep™ and RoboSep™ magnets. The CD56 antigen is expressed on NK cells and NKT cells. According to the manufacturer's data, the isolated fraction typically contains 96.3 ± 2.4% CD56+ cells (mean ± SD) when using the purple EasySep™ Magnet, with isolated cells remaining in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off.
