RoboSep Human CD4 T Cell Iso Kit

Using EasySep™ immunomagnetic negative selection, the RoboSep™ Human CD4 T Cell Isolation Kit from STEMCELL Technologies isolates highly purified human CD4+ T cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. In this column-free procedure, unwanted cells are labelled with antibody complexes and magnetic particles, then separated from the untouched CD4+ T cells using an EasySep™ magnet. Unwanted cells targeted for removal include CD8, CD14, CD16, CD19, CD36, CD56, CD66b, CD123, TCRgd, and GlyA.

Widely used in published research for more than 20 years, the protocol can be completed in as little as 8 minutes, with isolated CD4+ T cells reported at up to 97% purity with high recovery. The CD4+ T cell (CD3+CD4+) content of the isolated fraction is typically 94.8 ± 2.3% (mean ± SD) when starting from human PBMCs. Isolated cells remain untouched and viable, ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.
