RoboSep Human CD4 Pos Sel Kit II

This immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies is designed to isolate highly purified human CD4+ cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. Cells are targeted with antibody complexes that recognize CD4 along with magnetic particles, and the cocktail also includes an antibody against the human Fc receptor to minimize nonspecific binding. Separation is performed using an EasySep™ magnet without the use of columns: labeled cells remain in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off.

According to the manufacturer, isolations can be completed in as little as 15 minutes, and the isolated CD4+ T cell content (CD3+CD4+) is typically 96.3 ± 3.0% (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ magnet). The kit achieves up to 96% purity. As the RoboSep variant, it is supplied with RoboSep™ Buffer and RoboSep™ Filter Tips in addition to the EasySep™ Human CD4 Positive Selection Cocktail II and EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™ 50100 (each 1 mL), and is compatible with the RoboSep™-S instrument as well as other EasySep™ magnets.
