RoboSep Human CD14 Pos Sel Kit II

STEMCELL Technologies offers an immunomagnetic positive selection kit for isolating highly purified CD14+ cells from fresh or previously frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. The procedure is fast, easy-to-use, and column-free, with isolation achievable in as little as 22 minutes. Cells are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles, and unwanted cells are poured off while desired cells remain in the tube using an EasySep™ magnet. Up to 97% purity is achievable. The kit is available in a manual EasySep™ format and a fully automated RoboSep™ format.

Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. Components include an antibody selection cocktail (monoclonal antibodies in PBS with 0.09% recombinant human albumin) and a suspension of magnetic particles in water, both stored at 2 - 8°C. According to manufacturer data, the CD14+ cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 95.3 ± 4.5% (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ Magnet), with example purities of 28.5% in the start fraction and 98.3% in the final isolated fraction.
