RoboSep Hu HLA-DR Pos Sel Depl Kit

STEMCELL Technologies offers an immunomagnetic kit for isolating or depleting highly purified HLA-DR+ cells from fresh or previously frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or leukapheresis samples. The kit targets HLA-DR, a human major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II receptor expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells including dendritic cells, B cells, monocytes, macrophages, and activated T cells. Unwanted cells are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles, then separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet, with up to 98% purity achievable.

Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. Starting from washed or lysed leukapheresis samples, HLA-DR cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 91.9 ± 6.4% after positive selection and 2.0 ± 1.8% after depletion (mean ± SD using the EasySep™ Magnet). The procedure can be completed in as little as 25 minutes. Compatible magnets include "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet, Easy 50 EasySep™ Magnet, and RoboSep™-S.
