RoboSep HLA Chim WB CD4 Pos Slctn Kit

A positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies designed for the immunomagnetic isolation of highly purified human CD4+ T cells from fresh whole blood, buffy coat, or an LRS cone. The kit uses Tetrameric Antibody Complexes that recognize CD4 along with dextran-coated magnetic particles; labeled cells are separated using an EasySep™ magnet without columns, with cells of interest remaining in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off. The CD4 antigen is expressed on helper T cells and more weakly on monocytes and tissue macrophages.

Using "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, the CD4+CD14- cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 97.0 ± 1.8% (gated on CD45; mean ± SD), and the purity of the final isolated fraction can reach 99.0%. Optimized for RoboSep automated separators, the kit provides column-free magnetic selection intended to preserve cell viability and function, and delivers an automated-friendly workflow suitable for reproducible separations in chimerism, HLA, and immunology workflows.

Targeted at downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, and molecular assays, the kit replaces the earlier EasySep™ Human Whole Blood CD4 Positive Selection Kit for even faster cell isolations. It is compatible with "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, the EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet, and the RoboSep™-S instrument. For research use only; not for diagnostic use.
