Designed for automated immunomagnetic positive selection, this STEMCELL Technologies kit isolates IgM-positive B lymphocytes from rat splenocyte suspensions and lymphoid tissue without columns or manual handling. Reagents are loaded directly onto the RoboSep-S or RoboSep-16 instrument, which performs antibody labeling, magnetic capture, washing, and resuspension in a single enclosed run.

The kit pairs biotinylated anti-rat IgM antibody cocktails with magnetic streptavidin particles to label target cells for retention by the instrument's permanent magnets. Single-use vials minimize cross-contamination, and the workflow routinely handles large mononuclear cell inputs from rat spleen, lymph node, and peripheral blood preparations. Isolated populations are ready for downstream flow cytometry phenotyping, in vitro stimulation assays, and adoptive transfer studies in rat models.
