Ms IgG3,k Ctrl, MG3-35, UC, 50µg

A mouse monoclonal IgG3, kappa isotype control antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, supplied unconjugated and designed for use as an isotype-matched control when estimating the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. Ideally, the isotype control should share the same heavy chain subclass (IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, or IgM) and light chain (kappa or lambda) as the specific antibody being used, and where a conjugated primary is employed, an isotype control conjugated to the same molecule should be selected.

The antibody (Clone MG3-35) was raised in mouse against trinitrophenol + KLH and recognises keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH), with no defined binding specificity; it has been screened on activated, resting, live, and fixed tissues from mouse, rat, human, and non-human primates. The product is provided at 0.5 mg/mL in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide, and the antibody has been purified by affinity chromatography.

Clone MG3-35 has been verified as an isotype control for assessing non-specific binding to cells by flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy, including surface and intracellular staining; manufacturer-verified applications are FC, ICC, and IF, with reported uses in FA, FC, ICC, IF, IHC, IP, and WB. The product should be stored undiluted at 2 - 8°C and must not be frozen.
